I genuinely don’t think any piece of media has made me so legitimately triggered more than the fucking Camping bit. In hindsight I wish I had just skipped through it on my first playthrough but I think I was just in shock when it started. It just pisses me off bc whenever I see people criticize how lgbtq rep is handled in the Persona series, CERTAIN people always clamber to be like “iT’s JuSt BeInG rEaLiStIc To ThE lIfE oF a TeEnAgE bOy In 2009”. Well I can say that when I first played it I WAS a teenage boy, and that scene literally triggered a panic attack so bad I had to put down the game for a few weeks. There is just 0 excuse that could justify that bit being in the game for me… even had they kept Yosuke’s romance route, the fact that as a player, you can’t do or say ANYTHING about his behavior in the tent is egregious- and the river scene just needs to be eradicated off the face of the fucking earth. It's kind of sad when I watch people play this game sometimes because I'm able to see the lame, unfunny gags as just cheap gags so I can ignore them, but a lot of people can't (and rightfully so, they're hard to ignore). If they remake P4 they actually should remove them or make them more tasteful (aka defend kanji or reprimand Yosuke and Teddy), I don't think I've EVER seen a single person enjoy them. Or at least in Yosuke's case, keep the route that tackles his homophobic insecurity head on. (Also I love your editing and reactions, cant wait for the next vid)

Its my headcannon that Yosuke is insanely Closeted, as the Anime adaptation really likes pushing the Yu x Yosuke ship as well as Yosuke having a scrapped romance flag. And him bullying Kanji or getting mad at Yu is him coping even tho its shitty coping
